Trial scheduled in sabotage cases in Tennessee
Magistrate W A Hambright will hold a preliminary hearing Friday for 15 men charged with damaging transmission facilities of the Tennessee Electric Power Company. Warrants allege 16 men conspired to impair transmission equipment. 15 of the 16 have been arrested. The case stems from the cutting of poles on a 120000 volt line between Chattanooga and Ocoee dam.

Darby Injured In Unusual Warrior Accident
Darby of Hartselle suffered fractures to both legs in an odd Saturday accident at Warrior. He slipped while alighting from his car, breaking the legs just above the ankles. He was brought to the infirmary in a private car. His condition is not serious. Darby manages Brown Service Co. at Sylacauga and is widely known.
