Missing man's body found in Shelby County pasture
The body of Nigel Harlan a 43 year old Chicago steel executive missing since August 18 was found in a Shelby County pasture. Tony Nolen 25 and Debra Andrus 22 both of Countz Texas were charged in warrants in Milton Florida for forgery tied to Harlans credit card. Harlan an Ogden Steel Corp vice president was in Birmingham for business when he disappeared.

Driver drowns after car plunges into ravine near Hartselle
Jackie E. Taylor, 39, of Hartselle, died when his car ran off Alabama 36 into a water-filled ravine about eight miles east of Hartselle. Coroner Guy Hollaway said the wreck occurred near 1 a.m. and was found at 8:30 a.m. by Dickie Evans, of Horigene.
