Five injured as car overturns near Jackson Tennessee
J W Woodson former Canton Ohio Y M C A building superintendent and party were injured when their car overturned on the Trenton road near Jackson after a tire blowout. Mrs Woodson and others suffered cuts bruises and two members remained in hospital for several days. The driver said speed was not excessive and bystanders rushed the injured to hospital.

The local Red Cross finished the first batch of canning, with twelve dozen jars distributed to negro families in Decatur. Volunteers will store remaining jars for winter use. E. K.
