Legal Abortions Big In Britain

Foreign women flock to private clinics while British patients may use the National Health Service. doctors face bed shortages, moral objections, and high demand. The law permits abortions if two doctors deem risk to the woman's life or health, or substantial risk of handicapping birth, or if the pregnancy threatens existing children’s welfare under a controversial social clause. Some doctors fear overuse of reasoning and acknowledge backstreet options remain.
