Three Hurt When Car Dives Into Tennessee River
A Volkswagen carrying Thomas S. Nelson Jr Charles Robert Johnson and Herbert Junior Bond left U S 31 north of the TN river bridge around 8 30 p m and sank in the river backwaters. Nelson and Johnson were listed in fair condition at Decatur General Hospital Bond was treated there and transferred to Huntsville Hospital. Skindiver Tommy Grubbs retrieved the car for a wrecker. Damage estimated at 800 dollars.

Census Aid Sought For Farm Census Next Month
