Three Hijackers Take Jet to Cuba in Tampa
Three young Black men charged with murdering a New Mexico state trooper hijacked a Trans World Airlines jet at Albuquerque. They forced the plane to Havana, leaving 43 passengers at Tampa International Airport. Cuban authorities detained the hijackers on landing at Jose Marti Airport.
