Vickie Maxwell 916 16th Ave SE sustained a fractured collar bone and bruises after colliding with a Studebaker truck driven by Charlie James Ligon, 71. The incident occurred at 7 18 AM on 18th Ave SE as Vickie and another child were returning from shopping. She was taken to Decatur General Hospital by Brown's Ambulance and listed not hurt too badly by the attending physician.

Holiday Weekend Death Toll Sets New Memorial High
