Moment Musical of 1956 to be Held in Austinville School
A musical program titled Moment Musical of 1956 will be presented at 7 30 p m Thursday in the Austinville school auditorium. The city recorder court docket this morning included five charges parking running red light and intoxicated. Walls in the Decatur Police Department get a fresh coat of green paint today. A 32 inch wrench was taken from Davidson Coal Co Holly Street after breaking Sunday. Eleven pennies were missing previously. A $55 000 building permit was issued to W J Williams to build a bus terminal at Grant Street SE. Permits also issued to Fred Murphree and Alma Hill Taylor for a brick veneer residence and a front porch respectively. The no Coast League assigned Breeding to the Baltimore Orioles. A meeting of the baseball league is scheduled for Thursday at 7 PM in the Park and Recreation Office at City Hall. Dr and Mrs W A Stone and son Milledgeville Ga will visit Mrs Jeanne Stone. George Clem Jr marriage in Bessemer is Saturday with Stone attendants. Leon Posey family returned from West Point and Warm Springs Ga. Vacation Bible School at Flint Baptist Church is set for June 4 15 with nursery open Friday at 9 AM. Priceville Future Homemakers of America elected Betsy Thompson president Evelyn Blankenship VP Josephine Turner secretary Linda White treasurer Betty Speakes historian Jane Mae Henson parliamentarian and song leaders Sue Atkins Joyce Sandlin. Mrs Medders from the F H A convention at Montevallo June 6 8 noted. North Alabama Shrine No 7 will meet Friday at 730 PM at the Decatur Masonic Temple with ceremonial. Mrs Louis Schwab of Houston Tex guest of daughter Mrs John Marcontell.

A fire at 1:45 p.m. yesterday gutted the E. L. Orr residence on McGlathery Lane SE. Two rooms were destroyed, two damaged, and furnishings ruined. loss valued as high.
