The body of a white man fatally injured when struck by a car Saturday night near Hart selle was identified as Lewis Bryant, 45, a World War veteran from Brewton. The death occurred on Bee Line Highway three miles north of Hartselle. Police said Bloyd Jones of South Morgan county drove the car and was absolved of blame. Bryant had told a Hartselle doctor he planned to enter a veterans hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee.
