Local Society Circles Held Meetings Across Town
The Pride circle of the Woman's Society of Christian Service met at Mrs. H. P. Still's home with devotionals on The Tale Bearer and mission study We Americans North and South. Other circles met at Mrs. Paul Robinson and Mrs. Henry Sigman homes for prayers, lessons, and social hours. Zetomen Club announced a Friday picnic. Austinville and Central Baptist groups hosted banquets and showers, with tea, coffee, and a bed course served. Country club entertainment planned for the evening. Mrs. Price and Mrs. Murdock were honored at a gathering, and Junior Service League invited members to a Monday meeting.
