Israel Still Not Independent Says Atlanta Builder
Atlanta businessman Sidney Feldman told the Decatur Kiwanis Club that Israel must attract more Jewish emigrants from Russia to reach true independence. He cited 300,000 of Russia’s 3 million Jews seeking visas, costs rising from 1 000 to 25 000–30 000, and warned that delaying emigration endangers Israel’s security amid fears of oil and land issues.
