Two Soviet reconnaissance aircraft penetrated U S air space about 30 miles into Alaska on Thursday night. American fighters scrambled and tracked them by radar but did not fire. There Is a Way That Seems Right Unto Man
The passage warns that human plans apart from God lead to death while God reveals truth through creation providence and Christ. Ignoring divine revelation blocks eternal happiness and forgiveness, though many remain content with their own ways seeking transformation.

Soviet farm output lags despite shakeups in policy
The Moscow based Ekonomika Sovetskaya Ekonomika magazine says Soviet agricultural output grows slowly. Since 1958 the annual increase per acre has averaged 1.5 percent, far below the faster gains of 1953 to 1958. A new agricultural department head Ivan Volovchenko was named to replace Konstantin Pysin. Khrushchev’s Virgin Lands campaign expanded crops by 90 million acres, but investment in fertilizer and machinery remains unclear, and farm living remains hard as population grows.
