Town Creek 26 year old AL Tidwell in Colbert county hospital in critical condition after a pistol wound during an alleged escape from Town Creek Police Chief Hendrix at the rear jail entrance. Authorities say Hendrix ordered halt, fired over Tidwell head, bullet struck back of his head. An ambulance transported Tidwell to Colbert county hospital for treatment.
