James E. Gunn, a well known Morgan county farmer, died at his home on Trinity route 1 after a ten day pneumonia illness. He was 56. Funeral rites will be held at his home Thursday afternoon with Rev. S. W. Brooks officiating and burial at the family cemetery near Trinity. Pallbearers included Fred B. Hunt Sr., John Davis, Robert Carlson, W. H. Gregory, W. E. Steed, Wallace Meadows and John B. Sewell. Surviving relatives are a sister Mrs. H. O. Lile, Trinity route 1. brothers Ben Gunn, Trinity route 1, and Ed Gunn, Decatur. two nieces June and Ann Gunn, and a nephew Jimmy Gunn, all of Decatur. He was a prominent resident of the western Morgan county area.
