Ingrum Dies at Athens Home Prominent Furniture Dealer
The death of M. L. Ingrum, 57, a prominent Athens furniture dealer, occurred early today after a second stroke. He suffered a first stroke at about 9:30, and died at 1 o'clock with his family away. Funeral services are planned for Sunday at the old Anderson cemetery. He is survived by his wife, daughter Lola Mae Hatchett of Shreveport, La., two sons Leon and Gerstle of Athens, and was active in the Baptist church.

Verdict for State in Impeachment Case Against J. P. Lipscomb
A jury returned a verdict for the state in the impeachment proceedings against J. P. Lipscomb justice of the peace at Lacey's in circuit court Friday afternoon.
