Two Voting Lists Dropped in Jones County Gray
Jones County election officials agreed to end separate voter registration lists for Negro and white voters in Gray after U S District Judge William A Bottle issued a permanent injunction against discriminatory practices in registration and polling. The injunction takes effect July 11 after a local special election.
