Police report the driver of a bank car and two holdup men were wounded in an attempted robbery at Central Railroad Station Lawrence Massachusetts. Bridal Car Crash Kills Groom and Best Man in Chattanooga
In Chattanooga on June 25 a bridal car crashed into a telephone pole and overturned. Groom to be James Edward Ashford 30 of Chattanooga and best man Kenneth Duncan 25 of Birmingham were killed. Passenger Ralph Davis 26 of Chattanooga was seriously injured. The party was en route to awaken a magistrate near the Georgia line to perform the ceremony.

Case to Jury in Second Degree Murder Trial
