Judge A M McConnell, president of the Athens Chamber of Commerce, appointed a committee to recruit new members. The group also pledged to guarantee landowners near the Athens CCC camp a reasonable revitalization if government funds fall short. The July meeting will be a barbecue at the Ross Hotel instead of the usual banquet.
