Decatur Alabama adopts zoning amendments in 1964 ordinances
Two 1964 Decatur ordinances amend Chapter 27 of the Code of Decatur Alabama 1956. Ordinance No 1417 adds uses permitted on appeal to M-1A Industrial Districts subject to R-4 residential adjacency along Belt Line Road. Ordinance No 1416 redefines zoning boundaries from Somerville Road to Eighth Street SE changing an MC Medical Center district on a mapped area previously set as R-3. Both ordinances take effect upon adoption June 16 1964 with authentication by City Clerk Joe Pettey.

Savannah man injured inflating tractor tire at service station
