The Antioch Baptist Church near Priceville is the second oldest Baptist church in North Alabama south of the river. The old log structure under a brick addition remains sturdy with heavy oak timbers, while a 1960s expansion added a basement nine classrooms and modern heating. Members moved the building on rollers onto concrete pillars and completed a basement, reflecting a blend of frontier heritage and contemporary needs.
