Senate today debates a social security bill while the House tackles miscellaneous measures. Yesterday the Senate heard opening arguments on the security bill and sent the NRA extension bill to the White House. It also sent to the president a bill to extend the transportation coordinator post for one year. The Ways and Means Committee approved a two year extension of present taxes.
Candy was the main lure for thieves who hit the service station of Samuel Geafey in Sunbury Pennsylvania on June 15. A brief report notes the break in and ongoing investigation as authorities review security footage and gather witness statements.
