Alabama Band of Fatal Auto and Train Incidents
In Birmingham on June 13 three people died in Alabama traffic and rail incidents. Dewey Bell thirty three 23 was fatally struck by a coal truck in North Birmingham becoming the citys sixth traffic fatality of the year. John Raymond Huey two his parents Mr and Mrs John H Huey were injured in a head on collision on the Warrior highway near Warrior. Lilla Blackburn sixty six of near Florence died after being struck by a freight train while walking along tracks near Florence.
