Dear Heloise describes converting a pendant chain into a decorative drip dry rod above the tub. She uses cuphooks, a length of linked chain sprayed gold, and artificial flowers to create a functional, attractive drying rail that prevents garment overlap and speeds drying.
Two small wooden salt and pepper shakers were transformed into candle holders by cutting off the tops and filling the hollow with sand. Small tapered candles secure in place. larger shakers can yield bigger holders.
