Cross index links old and new Decatur addresses
The City of Decatur and the Electric Department publish a cross index aligning old street and avenue names with the new numbering system effective July 1. The list, prepared with the City Planning Commission and State Planning Board, shows old addresses on the left and new addresses on the right, including many Alma Street and Bank Street changes. It notes some incorrect old addresses in parentheses and urges businesses to keep a copy for up-to-date mailing lists.
