Roy DeLotte held for robbery after murder acquittal
Roy DeLotte the 21 year old who was acquitted of murdering his bride on their wedding night is jailed on a Birmingham Alabama jewelry store robbery charge. He allegedly robbed the Birmingham state and obtained 90 dollars before arriving in Shreveport where a Caddo district court jury found him guilty after a brief trial. He collapsed when the verdict was announced and was carried from the courtroom.

Bravery Citation For Alabama Bay Bravery Cross Awarded
