Washington June 2 The Southern Natural Gas Company of Birmingham Alabama has agreed to register with the federal securities commission as a holding company under the utility holding company act. The move enables the commission to regulate inter company and financing transactions.

The Alabama Beverage Control Board announced selections for five additional state liquor stores to be located outside Montgomery Mobile and Jefferson counties. It also named 90 wines champagnes and vintage beverages for state stores and suspended a two bottle per customer purchase rule.
