Area Accidents Take 2nd Victim
The death of Don Edward Glaze age 3 in Austinville, son of Mr and Mrs A J Glaze, marks the second accident fatality in Decatur in two days. Don died at 9 30 this morning at Jefferson Hillman Hospital after an emergency ambulance transfer from a Sunday wreck on Highway 31 near Athens. Mrs Glaze and son Roger Dale remain in Decatur General Hospital with injuries from the Sunday accident. Funeral services for Don will be Friday at 9 a.m. at the Austinville Baptist Church with Rev Thurman Knight officiating. Interment in City Cemetery. Survivors include the parents the brother Roger Dale and several grandparents and great grandparents.

Cullman county prison officials say rumors that Bert McIntosh a life term murder defendant killed himself this week are unfounded Deputy Warden C R Dees told the Daily that there is nothing to the report McIntosh was accused of killing his wife Bertha on November 4 1952 at their Cullman County home and was awaiting sentence.
