Man Who Loved Cat Dancing and 40 Carats Movie Reviews
New York Times critic Vincent Canby reviews Richard Sarafian’s The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing. He calls it a failed western with fake Indians and uneven performances, naming Burt Reynolds and Jack Warden amid the cast. The piece also covers Jay Allen’s 40 Carats, a weak Broadway-to-film adaptation starring Liv Ullmann and Edward Albert, noting its blandness and unconvincing charm.
