Two Die After Arab Gun Battle During Stabbing Probe
In Arab Alabama a 40 year old Finis Freeland and a 45 year old Roy Mitchell died in a pre dawn gun battle with police at Freeland's home while officers investigated Mitchell's stabbing death at Lee May's Ruth community residence. Freeland fired from inside and was shot. Mitchell died from the earlier stabbing. Sheriff Warren Jones says May is wanted and two women are charged.
