FBI arrests trio in Bank of Columbia Alabama robbery
The FBI today arrested three Anglin brothers John 26 Clarence 27 and Alfred 22 in Ruskin and Tampa Florida linked to the January 17 robbery of the Bank of Columbia Alabama. About 14000 was found in their car and rooms with earlier reports noting 19000 taken.

Kansas City Clears After Record 15 Inch Snowstorm
Kansas City and surrounding area dig out after a record 15 inch snowfall the worst in 46 years. The blizzard spread to Missouri Iowa and Illinois leaving 10 to 12 inches in parts of Iowa and Wisconsin and at least a foot elsewhere. Developers Buy 14 Pct Of Land In Decatur Slum Clearance
The Decatur Housing Authority is near the half million dollar mark in land purchases for the Church St 8th Ave area slum clearance project. About 74 percent of roughly 47 acres has been acquired with at least $406,000 spent. The plan clears sub standard dwellings, improves the area, then resells the land. The authority negotiates with the State Highway over rights of way for a new bridge over the Tennessee River, with about $130,000 expected from the sale.
