Floods Cause Train Wreck in Kentucky
Floodwaters derailed a Louisville and Nashville passenger train south of Henderson Kentucky injuring several passengers and trainmen. Conductor J F Corbitt and flagman were hurt. Three passengers from Earlington two of them a child were rushed to safety by a special train as the line remained blocked for hours. The wreck forced detours on the Henderson division and a separate detour on the Memphis Louisville line due to high water at Cumberland Tennessee.
