Funeral services for T B Johnson who died Friday night at his Pleasant Hill home will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 2 PM Sunday. The Rev Goins will preside with assistance from Rev B P Collier and Rev Dan Prayter. Burial will follow at Jack Robinson Cemetery near Pleasant Hill. Johnson, in his 89th year, is survived by five daughters and five sons, with nineteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.

Eastern Plane Crew Credited With Courage
The air safety board credited the crew with exceptional skill and courage for a safe landing of a flaming Eastern Airlines plane near Montgomery Alabama on October 14. An engine failure caused by vibration led to a fire but all 14 aboard survived with only minor injuries to Captain J D Hissong. Crew included C R Russell and Frank Gibbs.

Mrs. O R Johnson of Louisville Kentucky formerly of this city died at her home in Louietaville last night after a three week illness. The body will be sent to Decatur and then to the home of Mr and Mrs Mel Jackson 505 Sherman. Funeral services are set for Sunday at 4 pm at the Cent Baptist church conducted by Dr W P Wilks and Rev Homer Britton. Interment will be in city cemetery with Brown in charge. She leaves a husband O R Johnson a sister Mrs George Jackson of Jasper Alabama a niece Mrs Fred Bowen two nephews Jack Spangler and Earl Jackson and several other relatives. She had long been a member of Central Baptist church and her Christian life and loyalty to church and friends are noted in memory.
