Decatur firemen reported on four fires Friday including three grass fires on Brookmead Road Moulton Heights and East Moulton Street and a house fire at 405 Jackson Street SE. A Milton Holmes relative was killed in a plane crash northwest of Savannah Missouri Thursday night. Funeral services are set for 3 p.m. today in Florence with Brown Funeral Co. directing. A 1956 Cadillac and a 1953 Plymouth collided on Cherry Street by the Decatur Post Office at 6 p.m. Friday.

State Grants Permit for Lawrence Oil Test
