Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Boger of Hartselle marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at their daughter J L Day’s home. Lena Woodall Boger, from near Flint, married in 1875, joined family and friends for the celebration. The couple, now long settled on East Maine Street, have five daughters and one son, more than fifty years in their home, and remain active in community life in Lawrence and Morgan counties.

Eighteen Hurt In Two Elevated Trains Collision
Eighteen people were injured when two northbound elevated trains collided at Eighth Avenue and 151st Street on the upper west side. Passengers received first aid from four ambulances as Mayor LaGuardia and Fire Commissioner McElligott rushed to the scene. This crash is the second in two months following a fatal December 11 accident on the Third Avenue line.

Rabbit hunt leaves man with shattered hand near Athens
