Kingston Pa December 20 A tanbark clue found in a burlap sack holding the nude body of 19 year old Margaret Martin pointed police to a tan nery near Kingston as a possible site where she was slain or stripped of clothing. The coroner ruled the death as murder by strangulation at the hands of unknown persons. Major William A Clark led the inquiry and checked two Philadelphia men who enticed a Hanover Township girl to a Wilkesbarre hotel room claiming factory work. The victim was discovered four days after she vanished. The case includes a witness who found the body jammed in a gunnysack under a footbridge.
