TVA Pays $26.5 Million Dividend to Treasury
TVA to the U S Treasury payment of 26.541 million on December 31 raises total to about 751 million dollars. The semiannual dividend on appropriation investment in the TVA power system grows with interest rates and will be followed by further payments next June. The year’s total dividends on appropriation investment exceed last year by over six million dollars, a 13 percent rise.
