Mr and Mrs Charles Forman of Danville announce the birth of a son December 19 at Decatur General Hospital. Mr and Mrs Walter West of Wichita Falls Texas their son Harlon West of Birmingham and Ray West of Hartselle were recent visitors of Mr and Mrs Hugh Lindsey of Danville. Mr and Mrs Tommy Tomlinson of Trinity were complimented at a housewarming recently. Guests included Mr and Mrs Hancel Glover and Belva, Mr and Mrs Lewis Sims and Linda, all of Danville.

Couple Celebrate 75th Wedding Anniversary in Giles County
Mr and Mrs Bev E Holt of 204 Rose St Pulaski Tenn marked 75 years of marriage on Christmas Day. Married December 25 1888 at Cool Springs Church of Christ near Goodsprings they remain active in Giles County. Holt a retired postmaster and former general store owner and auto dealer is 93 turning 94 New Year’s Day. They have five children two in Pulaski one in Decatur and two in Pulaski plus four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. No deaths in the immediate family in 75 years.
