Harrisburg Kentucky December 22 A nationwide search is underway for 21 year old Jeanne Morgan Brager and her husband John Brager of Tacoma Washington charged with kidnapping Vicki Jeanne Snyder a three year old girl adopted by Harry Snyder of Harrisburg The child was taken from her grandparents home allegedly to visit friends in nearby Hummerstown with a return by 6 PM for a church Christmas party but did not return The Snyders say they learned the girl had not been with the friends by late evening.

Soldier shoots finger off after rattlesnake bite
A 17 year old soldier home on leave shot off his right index finger after stepping on a rattlesnake near Eatonville Mississippi. Carter, from Brookley Air Force Base Alabama, fired the shotgun with his left hand and the finger was amputated at a local clinic with no further venom symptoms observed.
