Old Ship Outlives All Masters By DON BALDWIN
The Pacific Queen, a 253 foot three masted square rigger, returned to San Francisco Bay from Long Beach for a paint and rigging refresh. Built in 1886 and once key on the Alaska run, the ship sailed in many films and was the Kissinger family’s pirate show until his death aboard. Widow Rose Kissinger plans to keep the vessel, hoping to find old time sailors as the crew dwindles.
