Jas B Hill president of Louisville and Nashville expects good business for the railroad in the first quarter of 1936 with coal traffic holding up. He notes December earnings near three quarters of last year and November earnings slightly below 1934. The line will close its shops on December 21 and reopen January 1.
Mrs Thoma Williams sought a peace bond against her husband Jack Williams claiming harassment tire tampering and threats. The court refused the bond as Jack quipped that he valued the dog more than the marriage and the couple proceeded with divorce proceedings.
