New County Jail Plans Include Padded Cells and TV System
Sheriff John C. McBride and architect Walter Hall outline a $750000 west wing jail to the $3.5 million courthouse funded by federal revenue sharing. Plans include closed circuit TV, padded cells, maximum security, and spaces for offices, mugshots, polygraph, intoximeter, and secure entrances. Bids anticipated January or February with construction across three-block courthouse complex.
