Negro Hart In Car Accident Near Athens
Richard Reynolds, a Decatur Black man, was injured with three broken ribs after his car collided with a coal truck driven by Emmett Hazelwood of Pulaski on Bee Line highway five miles north of Athens at 6 p m Wednesday. State highway patrol investigators said Reynolds was traveling south while the coal truck was north, the truck attempting to pass a wagon. Both vehicles were damaged.
