West Point Rings Tell Stories Of Historic Valor
West Point displays show about 160 class rings and a cufflink set from 1879 revealing a century of service. Notables include Dennis Michie who coached the first Army football team and died in Cuba, Douglas MacArthur, Jonathan Wainwright, and James Spruill who died in Vietnam. Some rings rest behind glass at the museum while others stay in the library.
