He claimed he planned to be caught to be sent to a training school to learn a trade. Oliver J Shepard 511 Eighth avenue west testified he saw a man trying to open the office door and alerted police.

Mystery of Unidentified Woman Found in Sacks near Wildwood
Investigators in Dias Creek near Wildwood New Jersey found the mutilated body of an unidentified 35 year old woman stuffed in two Prince Edward Potato Bag Company sacks. Coroner Benjamin Ingersoll planned chemical tests and an autopsy to determine cause of burns and whether fire or acid was involved. The body was found by George Scott and Hershell Reeves, with only a wedding ring as a possible clue.

Weaver dies of heart attack at 69 in Decatur home
