Decatur School Board Seeks 1.5 Million Bond Issue
The Decatur school board will ask the City Council to pass an ordinance to sell 1.5 million dollars in bonds to fund two new schools. Voters have approved a dedicated tax to service the debt. The prince arrived from New York for a two week visit and spoke of the tragedy. Doctor Bowman cited nervous exhaustion from overwork. She was about 55 and had recently gained control of the hotel after a lengthy court battle.
