Long legal battle over a calf ends with theft of its hide
In Lewmore Kansas on December 16 a four year dispute between Probate Judge Barstow and E N Weltgate over a $12 calf was settled. The case cost $2,500 and the calf died during litigation. The ownership fight continued for the hide after the animal’s death, but the hide has now been stolen.
