Decatur Artist Builds Jesse Tree for St Johns Church
Pat Srinivas led a community Christmas project at St. John s Episcopal Church to create a Jesse Tree an artful display linking Old and New Covenant symbols. The plan involved 19 symbols representing prophecies and ancestors chosen from biblical text, with care in cutting painting and assembly challenging her. The effort drew help from Girl Scout leaders homeroom mothers and church volunteers as part of Advent celebrations across the Tennessee Valley.
