Wall Street rebounds as indexes rise on dull trading
Wall Street rose in a technical rebound after two weeks of decline. The Dow Jones industrial average stood at 872.82, up 2.11, amid a 633 to 436 advance rate for NYSE issues and a mixed Amex session led by Syntex at 100. Transam, Loews, ITT and Twentieth Century Fox also moved small gains or losses in quiet trading.

Antique Auction Planned Sept 13 in Decatur
The Decatur Antique Dealers Association will host an auction on September 13 to aid G. C. Gentry, stabbed during a robbery at his shop last month.
