Murder Suspect Arraigned In Limestone County Case
Levi Miller, 47, charged with murdering his wife Rosetta Anderson, 38, was arraigned in Limestone County Court. A preliminary hearing was set for Aug. 17. Landfill Group Plans Start at Morgan County Site
The Solid Waste Committee in special session approved temporary employment of two workers to begin operations at the Morgan County /Sagéary landfill on U.S. 31S near Flint City. One worker to be hired by the City of Decatur and the other as a Morgan County temporary employee. Clearing expected next week, with a landfill trench to follow and operation anticipated this fall. The commission will seek a clearing contract next Monday and plans to buy a trailer office and 60 ton scales for the site. The landfill group aims to be incorporated by legislative act before month’s end.
