Eugene Daniell aged 28 was arrested in New York and charged with placing tear gas bombs that closed the stock exchange yesterday. He admitted placing a package on the steps of Boston Mayor Curley’s home and led authorities to radical literature found with dummy bombs. Boston raids on the Commoners of International Party resulted in four detentions and a dummy bomb addressed to President Roosevelt.

Youth Killed by Accidental Gunshot in City Alley
Claudie Phillips ten year old son of Andy Phillips of 1404 Fourth Avenue South died at noon from a bullet wound accidentally discharged from a 32 caliber revolver. He and companion Paul Wheeler were playing in an alley between Third and Fourth avenues South. The bullet struck the right chest and lung, causing fatal blood loss before medical aid could save him. The weapon discharge event remains undetermined. The body was taken to Priest’s undertaking parlors for burial preparations. Funeral arrangements to be announced.

Plunges to Death From 12th Floor
